The latest official Talki24 APK can be downloaded directly from the website. The universal build fits every supported device, while ABI-specific builds are smaller for advanced users.
Android downloads are temporarily unavailable until the new Talki24 build and signing are verified.
Choose the right build
A universal APK is published for compatibility and smaller ABI APKs are published for direct website downloads. Google Play uses the AAB.

Why Talki24 uses an audio Foreground service
When a room audio stage is live, the app uses AudioStageService as a Foreground service so the LiveKit audio session remains connected while users switch apps. When a private voice call is accepted, VoiceCallService uses microphone only during the call with a persistent, clear notification, while the app locally suspends the stage microphone and playback without disconnecting the LiveKit room to protect call privacy. Stage listeners use mediaPlayback, and approved stage speakers use microphone.
